Do I need to send fabric and DMC for cording with my project?

It is completely up to you! I have dozens of fabrics, and usually use dupioni silk, Liberty florals, velvet, and some cotton prints. If you have a very specific idea in mind (i.e. wedding themed print) order the petal cotton or velveteen swatch from Spoonflower and send with your project. For cording, you can send 2-4 skeins of uncut & unused DMC (floss or pearl) or I will provide it for $3.

Do I need to send fabric for a pillow project?

If you have a specific design in mind, I recommend checking out Spoonflower's designs. I recommend ordering the Dogwood Denim fabric for pillows, it ruffles well and holds it's shape! I am able to source silks, velvets, cottons, and some prints like stripes and gingham for pillows. My favorite etsy store for ordering fabric is linked here.

How much can I embroider on the back of my piece?

On a 4x4 ornament, you can embroider at most 3 lines with 14 characters on each line (including spaces). Some larger pieces (i.e. hanging signs) may be able to have 4 lines. I will reach out before completing the embroidery if I think it won't fit.

What is your turnaround time?

I am a 1 person shop, so it depends on how many pieces I have at the time! It will probably be between 2-4 months, but feel free to reach out and ask. Once I receive your piece I can give a more accurate timeline.

When is your Christmas deadline?

In 2025, my Christmas deadline was August 20th. I will post on my Instagram when I decide on my 2026 deadline.
